This kit includes everything INCLUDING a new OEM latest version BRAND NEW PMD to complete the installation. The kit also includes a standard calibration resistor. The PMD and resistor will come pre-mounted to the cooler using industrial heat sink compound instead of a pad. (proven better heat transfer then any pad made) Included in this kit is 1) cooler, grade 8 mounting hardware (required to obtain proper torque for heat transfer), and industrial heat sink compound used in mounting PMD to cooler. Also a brand new Stanadyne PMD, and standard Stanadyne calibration resistor, and complete step-by-step instructions. The original harness will plug right into module without modification and absolutely NO strain on wires unless the last pump was not installed correctly. If that is the case we have an 8" extension that can be purchased. Only basic hand tools required. No drilling or cable splicing. Approximately a 10-20 minute installation. A truely simple Plug-and-play installation. There is a 2 year, unlimited mileage warranty on PMD's purchased after October 1, 2008.

THE #9 Resistor gives highest fuel delivery and is needed if you plane on leaving the old PMD on the pump and replacing it with a new one mounted else where.

DIPACO REMANUFACTURED DS FUEL PUMP FOR GM 6.5L
Pump Mounted Driver (PMD)
Only NEW PMD units are used in the remanufacturing of 05521DP fuel pumps.
Sealing
All seals, o-rings, washers, bearings and other pump sealing components are new.
Optical Sensor
Each optical sensor is tested before use. Only the latest model optical sensor, part number 33883, is used.
Pump Testing
Each pump is tested after assembly using an AVM2PC test bench and appropriate pump software drivers.

General Motors has announced they will begin using the 6.5L DS pump mounted driver (PMD) sold by DTech in their PMD service kit, replacing the Stanadyne PMD. The DTech PMD offers superior performance and is designed to withstand the pump engine compartment operating temperatures without having to be mounted off of the pump. The DTech PMD is available in a kit and is also included on DTech remanufactured DS fuel pumps.
